Crisis Kit: What to do when there’s nothing left to do
We often make mistakes when we go out and get what we think we need in our lives.
Yogi Bhajan repeated over and over again that the key to our success is to be still and allow things to come to us. It’s when we access and deeply listen to the pool of consciousness within that our strength and power is activated. The truest test of our ability to access our intuition and grace when we most need it is when we are in crisis. These are the times when we are likely to react, instead of acting. We become emotional, flip out, freak out, and fall victim to our ow skittering mind, desperate for a solution. However, especially women have the infinite capacity to turn emotion into devotion, return to our basic core engage the calming influence of the breath and act from intuition rather than impulse.
The selection of kriyas and meditations offered in this workshop is a powerful toolkit to draw from to help you return to your centre, go inside, and dwell in the subtle pool of self-mastery. Some of the techniques build your long-term capacity to deal with stress and develop the fortitude to hold up under difficulty.
- With The Kriya to Throw Off Stress, you develop your internal strength by fortifying your glandular system, intelligence and consciousness. This provides the internal solidity to be effective.
- The Kriya to Withstand the Pressure of Time is a powerful and energetic kriya for a full tune-up of the nervous system. If the nerves are not tuned-up you will not be able to withstand the pressure of the time. This also works on two problems common to a woman—locked-up pelvis and locked shoulders.
- Only five repetitions of the mantra in The Meditation for Absolutely Powerful Energy are necessary to totally elevate the consciousness. When you have a hard day to face, this meditation will give you absolutely powerful energy, and it will balance your most effective computer, the brain. It is the best thing to do for “brain drain.” The meditation can also be done when you are able to sleep afterwards.
To be a woman requires a lot of strength. Your glandular system, your intelligence and your consciousness have to be extraordinarily strong so you can be on the winning side. All the strength of the Universe is within you. It cannot be found outside. Those who do not develop strength from inside cannot get it from outside either. —Yogi Bhajan
